Upgrade a cloud instance
Introduction
Cloud instances will be automatically upgraded to the latest stable version, but you can also manually upgrade your cloud instance. This article will explain how to upgrade your cloud instance to the latest version of ConnectWise ScreenConnect™.
Tip: If you have an on-premises installation, view our on-premises upgrade instructions.
Upgrade your cloud instance
Cloud account administrators can upgrade their cloud instances from the cloud management portal.
Tip: ConnectWise ScreenConnect™ will create a snapshot before and after each upgrade. If you'd like to revert your upgrade, you can restore a previous snapshot.
1. Log into the cloud management portal
Visit https://cloud.screenconnect.com and enter your cloud account administrator password.
2. Open the Actions menu and select Upgrade
Pick an instance and click Actions to open the menu. Select Upgrade.
3. Select a version of ScreenConnect
Select a version of ScreenConnect from the drop-down box.
4. Click Upgrade to complete your selection
Click the Upgrade button to process your upgrade. You will be returned to the Instances page, where your instance icon will flash yellow as the upgrade is processed.
What's next
Once your upgrade completes, go to your Host page and upgrade your access agents.
