Placeholders are inserted into the content of an event notification to automatically populate information relevant to what you are trying communicate. For example, if the notification was to communicate that a payment was processed successfully, adding a placeholder to display the invoice number and the amount that was paid could be helpful to the recipient.
Event notifications are alerts that are triggered by an event that occurs in WisePay. An event is something that has occurred in WisePay, triggered by something a user has done or triggered automatically by WisePay.
